WIP Members at Luncheon

Membership

Membership in Women in Philanthropy is open to all women in our five county area who wish to further the mission and goals of WIP through financial support and optional participation. Our goal is to create a new source of funds from women who share a philanthropic interest in improving our community through a collective, educated grant-making process that will meet the needs of women and girls in the CSRA.

Payment of $1000 annually is required for membership. Voting privileges are extended to each WIP member allowing them the opportunity to be a part of the annual selection process of grant recipients. Participation on various WIP committees is optional. Members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting as well as other Educational Forums hosted by WIP throughout the year.

To become a member: click on Register Here button in the right hand column and follow the instructions. Or, click Contact Us in the upper toolbar and email any questions.

Member Events

Fall Forum – Each fall, members and guests gather for committee updates as well as an overview of upcoming events and calendar year schedule. Guest speakers include recipients of past grant awards reflecting on the positive and personal impact of WIP grant funding upon women and girls in the CSRA.

Educational Seminar – A seminar is held each fall for members of area community organizations to review Women in Philanthropy’s grant guidelines and application process prior to the application deadline. This is an excellent opportunity for interested applicants to meet with members of WIP and gain a clear understanding of the application process. There is no charge to attend.
